At Clear Cut Fitness, we offer an amazing small group fitness training program where attention to detail, customized program design and cost effectiveness are the name of the game.
Our classes have a maximum capacity of 6 people. This ensures everyone gets the individual coaching attention they need and that they have access to all the equipment to facilitate a proper strength based workout! You get all of this at a fraction of the price of personal training.
Our Small Group Fitness Training is, well, a small group! 6 people MAX.
Why do we do this? Because we've seen, run, and participated in group exercise before and we know the issues with it. We've seen the large group ex classes hosted by big box gyms. They can be a good start for beginners who don't know exactly what they're doing at the gym by themselves.. but, they have 3 big issues that we’ve worked to correct to give you the best programming possible.
Big Box Gym Group Fitness Classes can be great, but, they have a few significant issues that make them not the right fit for every one.
1. TOO MANY PEOPLE TO MONITOR.
Issue: The amount of poor form seen in these classes is enough to make your head spin. This is not only increases the risk for injury, but it means the exercises are much less effective.
Solution: Our group classes are small in order to pay close attention to each individual who is participating. This ensures you get the most out of your workouts and almost completely eliminates risk of injury.
2. COOKIE CUTTER PROGRAMMING.
Issue: This means that there is only 1 workout for everyone in the class. The problem here is that people are different and therefore, each individual deserves a program that is adjusted to suit their fitness level and goals.
Solution: Our Small Group Training allows us to modify our main program to fit your goals as best as possible. This way, if your goal is fat loss, we can modify it for that. Meanwhile, another member may want to build strength, in which case the program may be modified appropriately for strength gains.
3. LACK OF OPTIMAL EQUIPMENT.
Issue: Usually large group training consists of a ton of bodyweight, light dumbbells or some other random fitness contraption. This puts a limit on what you can achieve in a class setting.
Solution: At Clear Cut, We allocate people to the exact pieces of equipment they need to reach their goals optimally. How do we do this?
By pairing up and selecting one work station for 2 people. Each work station includes a Power Rack, Barbell, full dumbbell rack, resistance bands and Open Area/Lifting Platform. There are tons of accessories from dumbbells and kettlebells, to TRXs, bands and cable pulley machines. This allows you the freedom necessary to get the most out of your workout!
